Nanna's Original Buffalo Chicken Wings

2 1/2 lb. (12-15) whole chicken wings
1/4 cup Frank's Original Red Hot Sauce
1/2 cup butter or margarine
Oil for deep frying

Preheat oil for frying to 400 degrees. Split wings at each joint and discard tips. Wash and pat chicken dry. Fry wings in batches for about 12 minutes each or until completely cooked and crispy. Drain. For the sauce, melt butter or margarine and stir in hot sauce. Dip wings in sauce and serve with blue cheese dressing and celery.

Nanna's Note: If you don't wish to deal with hot oil and frying, just spread seperate wased and dried wings out ona cookie sheet ad cook in the oven at 425 degrees for about 1 hour, turning once halfway through. Then, dip in sauce and serve, or dip in sauce and return to the oven to crispin up. Also, you can easily create a sweetened "Wingers" style sauce by simply adding 1 cup of sugar or brown sugar to yoru sauce and stirring until sugar dissolves before dipping your wings. These are best if returned to the oven for awhile to crispin up and get all sticky and gooey. YUM!
