6-8 lb. bone in pork shoulder
8-10 whole garlic cloves
Poke 8-10 slits all around pork shoulder, suff whol garlic cloves into slits. Mix together the following rub:
1/4 cup paprika
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 T. Kosher salt
2 T. ground black pepper
1 tsp. cayeene pepper
Rub all over pork. Place in dish and refrigerat overnight (minimum of 2 hours)
Remove from the fridge. Place in a slow cooker with:
1 onion chopped
32 ounces of any flavored soda pop (not diet)
Cook for 6-8 hours. Remove. Cool. Shred. Serve on hard rolls topped with a mound of coleslaw and this sauce to drizzle with on the side (this sauce may be heated through to blend flavors or whisked and served cold):
1 cup cider vinegar
1/2 cup water
1/3 cup ketchup
3-6 T sugar
1 T. Worcestershire sauce
1 T. salt
1 T. pepper

Gyoza
Ingredients:
1/2 lb. ground pork
1/2 c. leaks or substitute other onion (if green onion do 1/4 cup)
1- 1 1/2 c. napa cabbage (Chinese cabbage)
1/2- 1 clove of garlic (grated)
1 tsp. ginger (grated)
Brown sugar
Soy sauce
