1/2 cup butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon juice
Beat in
1 egg
2 tsp. milk
Add and mix in
2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
Divide the dough and color it with food coloring. Knead the food coloring into the dough. I found that we mostly used red, green, and plain colored dough for our cookies. Make smaller amounts of the other colors for accents. Have fun forming bells, trees, snowmen, wreaths, and candy canes etc. out of the dough. Place on a cookie sheet and bake at 375 for 10 minutes.
